StarBUST?

Okay, you know how much we love our Starbucks in Forest Acres! It is GREAT! The people, the baristas (Mom, those are the people who make the coffee), the service. It is great! So we were SO excited to see that the town of Aberdeen had a Starbucks! While running errands for Gramma on Saturday morning, Sister and I stopped at the Starbucks for a quick jolt of caffeine and wireless access to purchase a Christmas present online.

So Beth takes a seat and starts doing the computer thing while I get our drinks, a Marble Mocha Mochiatta (M3) and a sugar-free, fat-free vanilla latte. Only they don't HAVE the M3, something Sister gets at least twice a week at our Starbucks. (Turns out that it's not on the menu anymore, but our baristas know the drink and still make it for Sister.) Once we finally figure out that drama, Beth tells me that they don't have wireless access. WHAT? Don't all Starbucks have wireless access? Not this one.

So we finally get our drinks, which by the way, they served without those cardboard insulators, and head out to another place for wireless access, and we stop to get a napkin, which you guessed it, they didn't have! They had no napkins - just that crappy brown paper towel stuff from the bathroom. And on the way out, I heard them telling someone they were out of forks!

I'm calling the Starbucks police on these wanna-bes.

Now THAT is disappointing! It's even more sad since I have dear, darling family in Aberdeen. What a shame! They don't know that REAL Starbucks do exist! They obviously just have the shell of one. Bah humbug.

Ask your darling family what's the deal with the StarBUST? I sent in a comment card AND left a comment on the Web site.
