Observed at the Sprint store today: A handsome middle aged man came over to a cute middle- aged girl and said,"I don't have my reading glasses with me. Can you read this model number?" I almost fell out, especially since the middle-aged girl was SISTER! Bahahahahahahaha! He was wearing Johnny Cash all black, but was kinda cute in a little bit of a redneck, middle-aged man kind of way. Beth could do worse...
By the way, Sister will now be a Sister Act special correspondent as she has entered this century and gotten a phone with a camera - I see some great photos coming! I, myself, am holding out to have the oldest phone in America, which I am now closer to doing since Beth gave her old one up.
Saw the weekday Starbucks crowd this morning. Sister and I stopped in for a boost to make out early morning adventure to Wal-Mart a bit more bearable. Nancy, Amos, Bob and Stats Guy were there; it was quite a treat.
We shopped 'til lunchtime, and it was actually quite a pleasant morning. Before 9 a.m. is definitely the time to go to Wal-Mart. We also went to Home Depot and got a parking place in the first few spots. All of the sales people were still pleasant in the morning. The only places that were busy were the breakfast restaurants, so we did an 11 a.m. brunch at Paulie's Pizzeria.
Getting ready to go to the Elliott's annual Christmas Eve Eve party. Our old Republican friends will be there, which is always fun. I just leave before I have to much wine to start talking politics with them! Actually, though, George Shissias is always there, aka Republicans for Moore, and he's always good for a funny story!
Oh, and how funny is this? I flipped through my CDs today, and I already have a Kiss Greatest Hits. Maybe that's why Shout It Out Loud came so quickly to mind!
