Starbucks Redeems Itself for Aberdeen Experience

Just received the following e-mail and thought I'd share. I was impressed.

Hello Mary Pat,

Thank you for contacting Starbucks Coffee Company.

In partnership with T-Mobile Starbucks Coffee Company is proud to be offering T-Mobile HotSpot high-speed wireless Internet access in thousands of locations throughout the United States.

Many factors go into deciding which Starbucks locations will be a HotSpot, including service availability, technical specifications, leasing agreements and the demand for the service. While we cannot give specific information on which locations will have the service and how soon, please be assured that Starbucks values your comments. I have shared your feedback with the appropriate department for their attention.

For a list of Starbucks locations that offer this service, please visit T-Mobile's website: www.starbucks.com/retail/locator. If you have questions about or need help with the wireless Internet access at Starbucks, please call T-Mobile customer service at 1-877-822-SPOT.

I was very sorry to hear that our Aberdeen, NC location was out of supplies at the time of your visit. Starbucks is very committed to having all of our products available at our retail locations all of the time. This is part of what we like to call the Starbucks Experience.

Acting on feedback is essential to Starbucks continued success. If this does not happen, I realize that you and others may go elsewhere for your coffee needs. I assure you that Starbucks values your comments. Therefore, I shared your experiences with the store's management team for their attention.

As a customer service gesture I have arranged for some beverage coupons to be sent to you. You should receive them soon.

Thank you again for contacting Starbucks. If you have any further questions or concerns, please contact us at info@starbucks.com or call (800) 23-LATTE to speak with a customer relations representative.

Sincerely,

Suzanne M.

YOU GO, GIRL! This is SO something I'd do--contact the store that "did me wrong" ... I love it. Great response from Starbucks. Makes me like them even more!

We received the beverage coupons a few days before Christmas and used them immediately at our Starbucks! Of course, we had to let our barsistas know that we had gotten the bad service elsewhere, not at our Starbucks!
