We were there to help staff the AT&T Real Yellow Pages Telephone Book Recycling event. Everyone who brought an old telephone book for recycling got in free, and AT&T invited Keep the Midlands Beautiful to join them at their informational table.

Oh, yeah! We were there to work! Here, Jane from Paper Stock Dealers/Sonoco and I are with this cool costume she had an art teacher make from scrap tubes and yellow pages. They call her "Petuba Clark," but I thought she looked more like Anna Nicole!
Beth setting up pucks. They were real regulation pucks. Mostly kids got them, but one older lady got about 15 on her way in and then came back like we didn't remember her and got another 15 or so. You know how some people are with free stuff! Since the featured the old BellSouth logo, I think the phone book folks were just glad to get rid of them.
Finished display. We were at the table 'til about 7:30 p.m. Afterwards, Sister and I got some Dippin' Dots ice cream and watched the game long enough just to see one fight.

I was surprised to see my friend Kayren's brother and his family there! Here are his sons, Dalton and Kyle. I was going to freak Kayren out by putting their picture on the Web site and surprising her about seeing them, but her mother gave away the secret. Dalton looks JUST LIKE Karl and a little like Kayren, too.
Fun night! And we even recycled a few phone books!

Wish I would have seen y'all there! And whaaaaaaaaaat?!?! I paid $10 to get in! I have about 290384 phone books that need recycling. Grrrrrrr.
Kyle and Dalton are the best. They are polite, smart and good looking boys. I couldn't be more proud to be their aunt. KT
OMG! A comment from Kayren! Let me pick myself off up the floor! :)
