Time to Blog American Idol

I've been waiting 'til the top 12 are selected, but it's close enough.

The Girls:

LaKisha is my favorite girl. She sang Whitney better than Whitney last night. When someone sings Whitney, Randy always tells them that it's hard to pull off a Whitney song, but he didn't say it last night 'cause she was GREAT! That being said, she looks like Norbit, which could be a problem.

Everyone likes Melinda, but she's too old-acting to be an American Idol. She sings old songs, dresses old and acts old. I'll be anxious to see her sing some different songs and to see what the stylists do to make her a little edgier.

Haley and Antonella need to go!

The Boys:

LOVE Blake. He is the best, the cutest, the most talented. Period. He's my choice for the next American Idol.

Per the performances this week, I don't have a second favorite. Chris Sligh is good, although he wasn't so good this week. And he looks so much like the fat Jack Osbourne.

Who needs to go tonight? Who doesn't??!! Maybe Phil and Sanjaya.
