1. My Sephora package came today! Yay! In addition to my Benefit Lemon-Aid, which was packaged in a festive red velvet drawstring bag, I also received four great samples that I will be playing with this weekend. Savvy shoppers, remember, you have 'til January 15 to use the promotion code GORGEOUS to get an extra big sample!2. My face is FINALLY clearing up; I was even able to wear makeup today! The Prednisone is taking it's toll on me - I haven't had more than two hours sleep in a row since I started taking it - but what's a little sleep in exchange for clear skin?!
3. The medical profession redeemed itself today. My fabu doc, Brad Word, saw me today and profusely apologized for the incident that occurred on New Year's Eve. He said that if I was charged the $25 for the call, bring the bill to him. He also gave me his pager number so I can contact him directly next time. He is THE BEST doctor, but unfortunately, is not accepting new patients. I'm glad I'm already in.
4. A very well-placed community leader came to KMB with a great project proposal today. I'm VERY excited about the possibilities, both for the community and Keep the Midlands Beautiful. More as it hopefully develops.
