
Luckily, I went out early this a.m. to buy coffee and tofu, the single woman's version of bread and milk. I do need to stop on the way home to get a battery for the camera so I can capture the beauty of the ice in the trees, though.

SLEET AND FREEZING RAIN WILL LIKELY DEVELOP TOWARD SUNRISE THURSDAY. THE PRECIPITATION SHOULD CHANGE TO ALL RAIN BETWEEN 10 AM AND NOON.
ICE ACCUMULATIONS AROUND ONE-TENTH OF AN INCH ARE EXPECTED IN COLUMBIA... WITH LESS ACCUMULATION IN AREAS SOUTH AND EAST OF COLUMBIA.
IT TAKES LITTLE ICE TO MAKE DRIVING HAZARDOUS. BRIDGES AND OVERPASSES ARE THE MOST SUSCEPTIBLE TO FREEZING RAIN. BUNDLE UP WITH YOUR FAVORITE ANIMAL - TWO OR FOUR LEGGED - AND PLAN TO SLEEP LATE THURSDAY MORNING.

I keep hoping there will be a weather update saying the front or whatever will dip down further and cause us to be iced in all day long!
