I just made an appointment a J. Thomas Salon, and it wasn't with Wayne, the fabulous hairdresser who has commitment issues.
As you remember, Wayne stood me up last haircut, and I found out that he has - ahem - issues. He regularly misses appointments, and even missed his grandmother's funeral.
Kenny cut my hair that day, but this time, I made the appointment with the owner, J.T., who has early hours. He can see me at 8 a.m., which means I can go on my way in and not have to take a lot of extra time.
He remembered me from last time, when I was stood up, and assured me that Wayne had straightened up and was on a short leash. But I told him that since Wayne hadn't even bothered to call, not even to this day, I was going to hold my ground.
I know J.T. is good. I just wonder if I'm cutting my nose (or in this my hair) off despite my face. Like, I'm "standing up" to Wayne, but maybe to my own hair detriment?!
Support, people. I need support. Am I doing the right thing? 'Cause I sure am tempted to give in and go to Wayne. Oooh, but I've done that so many times, with men and wayward hairdressers, that I think I need to stand firm.
Thoughts?

What did you decide about this? I was pleased with my cut from Amanda at Ashley's Alley, but man, was she OPINIONATED! She pretty much planned my whole wedding, honeymoon, home decor and children's names and their nurseries in about 30 minutes. Phew!
