Mini-Makeover

This weekend, I did a mini-makeover in my room. I created a new headboard from an old fireplace mantel and moved my Breakast at Tiffany's picture - thanks, Jackie - above it. I still have a quite a few things to do - that's why it's just a mini-makeover - but I made quite a bit of headway today.

As for the headboard, I actually hung it with industrial-strength Velcro. Really. I heard that tip on HGTV or some such place. Apparently, it's a designer short cut. Ingenious - worked like a charm!

P.S. The bad thing about having a black cat is that you can never get a picture without her looking like an alien!
