It's only been three weeks since I decided to try "going back to my roots." I think it's actually been about six or eight weeks since I've done color, though, and that is a long time in my world!For those of you who don't see me every day and worry that I'm totally gray, you can see I'm not in this photo taken this weekend. But if you get close up, you can see some silver!
The day before this picture was taken, I saw an old friend of mine who commented on how much she liked my "highlights." I had to tell her to look closer - they were GRAY highlights!
So, it's not as bad as I thought, yet, and I haven't broken out the color yet, either. Wonder if I can last another three weeks? And will you even notice? (I know I will!)

AWESOME, MP!!!!! I'm getting my HIGHLIGHTS on Thursday...but I only get them done 4 times a year. Not too shabby, ay?
