You all know how excited I was that Prince was performing the half-time show! I usually don't even watch the Super Bowl. But this year, when folks asked who I was pulling for, I had an answer - "PRINCE!"
Imagine my disappointment when he came out in what can only be described as a "do rag." And not just any "do-rag," but an Aunt Jemima style "do-rag."
I can justify purple eyeshadow and heels on my man, Prince - that's part of his purpleness from way back - but the "do rag?" I can't explain.
Far be it from me to suggest styles for the Purple one, but if I'd been his stylist, I'd had a fedora on hand to protect him from the rain. And if I'd had to fall back on a scarf, I would've tied it gangsta-style.
"Do-rag" aside, the show was AWESOME! He sang one of my favorite Prince songs - Baby, I'm a Star - which I have on my workout mix and listen to EVERY DAY! And Purple Rain? You can't beat it, especially in the pouring rain!
He also still looks fabu - especially when you consider he's almost 50! His skin is flawless, and they got a great shot of him cutting his eyes, which drives me CRAZY! But you know, my DOG weighs more than Prince. And Winston - he was having NO PART of watching Prince last night!
Just in case you missed the show, I'm reluctantly posting a "do-rag" picture from last night. He did pull it off during Purple Rain, but as Sister said, "He shouldn't have!"

Man....that Aunt Jemima look....I about had a FIT when I watched it! I kept saying, "I cannot BELIEVE Mary Pat likes him!!" HA!! What a chump he is! MP, girl, you GOTS to GETS a new man. A REAL man. Not a SHEman.
